New York Manufacturer and DTC Siteholder, MWI Eloquence, Inc. will implement a state of the art RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) jewelry tag system from TracTech RFID Systems, Inc., manufacturer of RFID systems since 2003. Eloquence will use TracTech RFID throughout its New York headquarters to manage its finished and loose diamond inventory.
Established in 1954, MWI Eloquence first operated exclusively in the industrial diamond business; in 1974 the company branched into the gem diamond business. Since then, MWI Eloquence has grown into a successful diamond and jewelry business group, is a DTC sightholder and Natural Colored Diamond Association founding member with vertically integrated manufacturing and distribution.
MWI Eloquence expects to have TracTech RFID jewelry inventory tag system up and running by February 2012. “We’re excited to be implementing RFID by TracTech, said Leslie Lew, VP of MWI Eloquence; this technology is already in use, tracking high value inventory in a broad group of other industries; Eloquence will be implementing RFID without high cost development or increasing its manpower. Most important, we’ll use it to strategically focus our employees employee time saved towards the delivery of superior sales and service to our clients.”
